Howdy ho, patient myco folk!

Le move hath been completed! Err…at least the things have been moved to the new spot. SUCH a relief! I’m getting the final pieces to the puzzle in place tomorrow and we’ll be rippin’ and rollin’ like never before!

As usual, I was a little too ambitious for my timeline of completing the move in its entirety. I mean…I started at 8am last Wednesday and finished at 9am, which would be record time! If only it was the same day… a 25hr nonstop move took a toll that I thought I may never recover from, but here we are, fresh as ever.

HUGE shout out to my local muscle, Brandon and Will, as well as my good friend @Mike for helping me with the VERY heavy and sensitive items. Without you guys I may have passed away. Also massive props to @SporeCore, @BingoSmoke, @Psilly_Goose, @LeviathansKeeper, @Devilsinmydetails and countless others who were cheering me on the whole time and relieving mucho stress by saying I should take my time with it and not rush back. I have a tendency to push to the limits and feel like I’m letting people down when I don’t meet my own goals and timelines and they have been there to really encourage and give a ton of support from afar. All you guys freakin’ rock so hard!

I realized, probably mid-move, that I wanted to change up the whole gameplan by doing a full reset and starting over with all supplies I had on hand. A lot of dust was kicked up getting everything loaded and situated, and I just don’t want to take the chance for some rogue undesired spores to sneak into any bags of grain or substrate or anything, so I’m giving most of what I had left over to local peeps and using some myself. There were a couple last minute varieties of syringes I made before moving that I didn’t get around to properly bagging and I’d rather not leave it to chance just in case anything happened along the way.

With that being said, I already have a full load of restockage on the schedule for this week, and rather than juggling all of that and taking crazy orders while planning a nice big rollout of new stuff next week, we’re having a mild WW today to gear up for a glorious event next week! Next WW is the 14th and the 15th is National Mushroom Day, when I always have a big shebang anyway, so we’ll have a ton of new genetics, some new supplies, a re-work of the dice rolls, some minor price changes, and a few community created and donated surprises to hand out as well. If I tried to do what was planned this week, it would’ve been a bit hectic and honestly pretty “meh” just to meet a deadline. By postponing everything to the festivities next week, trust…it will be AWESOME!

I really appreciate all the support, patience and understanding! The energy at this new spot is unfathomable, and I couldn’t have done it without all of you. The spores, cultures and every step along the way absorb this immaculate energy and I’m positive it will show.

I’ll be hopping on in the general “voice chat” channel on Disc around 6pm CST and would love to talk and hang with whoever wants to join!

UPDATES:

Yet another label correction from last WW orders! In the hustle and bustle of preparing to move, I made a goof. I printed syringe labels for ATL7 with the header “Ps. Galindoi”, and forgot to change the header back to “Ps. Cubensis” when printing the normal cube varieties. Only a few orders shipped until I realized the mistake, but if you were one of them, know that unless you got an ATL7 syringe, that header *should* read Ps. Cubensis.

And on that note, thanks to a nudge from @AmateurMycologist, I’m learning ATL7 is actually a Ps. Tampanensis variety. For years, I and many other spore vendors have labeled ATL7 as Galindoi, and I’m just learning this is an outdated term for Mexicana. Labels will be properly adjusted going forward, just wanted to mention that!

Huge shout out to mr. @Psilly_Goose and @Sporecore for coming up with a fun game of “tag” going forward on Wednesdays! A 1lb box runs around $30 for shipping alone…5lb can be around $100, and some of these gives are heavier than that, running $200+ overseas, with high potential of getting stuck in customs and never actually arriving.
