Wheeeew! Last week was friggin incredible! For those who are new around these parts, we hit 1,000 members on Discord last week and had a whole shebang about it! Love was spread, prizes were given, the community vibes oh so high. And somehow I didn’t lose my sanity (if I ever had it)!

I really appreciate the love and support around here, and I love seeing everyone helping each other out and sharing their knowledge on the Disc server. We have a pretty tight family in there, thanks to all of you 🙂

Everyone who requested an item from le table of goodies last week got what they requested! After I got through packing up orders that had a request, I included remaining items as I saw fit, or what would fit in orders without going over the weight limits. I have a small handful of things left that will be given in tonight’s giveaways on Discord!

If anyone is missing any items they ordered, didn’t get something they requested, or if anything at all is wrong with your order, please let me know in a DM or email and I’ll take care of it ASAP! There has been a lot to juggle over the past week! I think I did a pretty good job making sure everything is accurate, but don’t hesitate to speak up if anything is off!

Some of the orders where I got to choose what extra goodies were included, I tried to match what I sent with the order. If the notes indicated you’re a total beginner wanting a syringe of Golden Teacher, I typically didn’t include swabs of some difficult to care for variety. But if I saw an opportunity to send something you may not have grabbed yourself, I’m all about it!

I know I like to stay in my comfort zone. What works, works, so why change it! But when I do explore a realm outside of le zone, it’s usually pretty magical and I end up learning so much that may not have even been related to the change I made. So I try to encourage this experimentation with all of you!

Last week I got an email saying they just absolutely LOVED the millet they got from me far more than the oats. That was their new go-to grain and were planning on running that from now on. Just a couple days later, someone emailed me saying they LOVED the oats and were switching over from the millet because of the results. So I try to hand out something that may give you a new perspective or experiment to try out.

In the same way, some environments react differently to certain types of grain or hydration levels in substrate, perhaps. The way I make everything is what I’ve dialed in for my specific environment, but may not be the best for yours. Always feel free to request wetter or dryer substrate, or if you have a reciupe you’d like me to tweak, I’m all about it! I make grains a few times a week and substrate a couple times a week, so it really isn’t a problem to make a few bags differently in most cases. Just share your findings with the rest of the class so we can continue to build and grow the best we can!

Icy Gates joins the shop this week! This is a really cool cross of Iceberg and Halo Gates that produces white caps with a blue hue! Due to being a true albino variety that does not drop visible spores, this one is only availbale in swab packs.

As of WEDS 7/8, this is what is good to go for supplies! Almost everything in the shop is “made to order”, meaning I make it once I get the order, so it’s as fresh as can be when you get it.
