SPRING has officially SPRUNG!

Oh dearest Spring, I thought you would never come! Even though time has been operating at warp speed lately, Winter sure did seem to drag on! Many of us were in a bit of hibernation mode, just trying to get by, protect our attitude, and survive the winter blues. And what do ya know? WE DID IT!!! Not that all of life’s challenges are behind us, but Spring does bring some fresh excitement and motivation into our lives and I am here for it!

There are some “phases”, where I might be struggling, or it seems like almost everyone I talk to is going through some really unfortunate times. Collectively, we just have to stay strong and band together to get through those times. We uplift each other as best as we can, offer support, and show empathy and compassion to those in need. That’s what we do! Cus’ we’re awesome like that! We always make it through. It may not be fun or pleasant by any means gettting through those tough times, but we make it, and come out stronger than ever before!

And I really do feel like the tides are changing out here! Totally apart from my own situation, I’m hearing things turn around for a LOT of us out there. Little by little, one by one, the friends that were having a really difficult time over the past few months are now seeing things shape up for the better! I say one by one, because it doesn’t seem to be happening to everyone all at exactly the same time. We all have different patterns and shift at different times, but overall, collectively, we are absolutely on the come up and CRUSHING it.

This seems to be an internal change from what I can see. Often times, the situation and circumstances haven’t changed all that much, if at all! But the perspective certainly has. The way we react to these challenges is changing. The way we are able to join forces with other souls and bounce ideas off each other is becoming stronger. And the boulders on our shoulders (hehe) now feel like insignificant pebbles. Ain’t nothing we can’t handle these days!

I was talking to a buddy the other day, who had a good way of describing how this feels. He said it was like he was running through life with a parachute on his back, completely resisting the forces he was faced with (or at least making it more difficult to navigate), and now has released the parachute. Like brain fog he never knew existed had been lifted. Having those obstacles in the past, or at least a renewed sense of clarity, makes a world of difference in how you navigate and perceive your surroundings. You not only feel the weight of those boulders, or the drag from the parachute disappear, but you actually feel even lighter than before, since you were going through life with that weight training!

Even if you feel like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders right now, know that your shift is coming, and it’s coming SOON! We bounce energy off of one another, spread motivation, passion, enthusiasm, excitement and positivity from one soul to the next like the craziest pinball machine you’ve ever seen just bing bing bing PING slap slap bing bing! Winter who? Spring is in full bloom and we are vibrating HIGH off each other! Every time I talk to one of you beautiful peoples who share some amazing transformation in your life, some crazy new epiphanies surface, I get absolutely BLASTED with motivation, and damn near overwhelmed with the positivity running through us. That carries onto the next interaction and we just keep stepping up up and away! Let’s keep this amazing chain reaction going, clipping the final few strings from those lingering parachutes and using our momentum to catapult each other into the ether of bliss! You’re worth it, you deserve it and you have the love of this entire community to prove it. Keep on keeping on with yo bad self!

Thanks to our good friend @TheMycoVet, PHOBOS is now available in swab packs! WOOHOO!! This one has been a long time coming for sure! Phobos has been elusive in my experience and I’ve had it on my wish list for quite a while! One attempt didn’t convince me it was the real deal, one other time I just lost it, and another attempt just didn’t work out. But these genetics are stronger than ever! Thanks so much @TheMycoVet for making this one happen! Phobos is the albino variant of “Mars”, appropriately named after one of Mars’ moons and is about as gorgeous as they get!

What is that you say? The dice rolls aren’t complicated enough? Say less! These dice rolls make sense to me and the folks that have been around for a while, but if you’re newer here or just curious how they work and I’m not explaining it well enough, feel free to reach out and I’ll try to simplify it for ya. There are currently two options that are vague…#8 on both the active $20 roll and gourmet $20 roll, mention “surprise goodies”. What the hell is even that? We just don’t know. But going forward, we’ll have a separate roll if you choose/roll one of these options. The “surprise goodies” will be determined by this extra roll. For example, if you roll a “1” on the separate roll for this option, you’ll likely have an “ahh, nice” reaction to the surprise goodies. If you roll an “8”, that reaction may be more of a “WHOOOOA DUDE HOLY MOSES!!!” with varying levels of goodies in between. Roll on my friends.

Quick note about giveaways on Discord: I love to accommodate anyone and everyone with these giveaways, but due to shipping cost and unreliability of getting through customs, these are currently for US addresses only. A 1lb box runs around $30 for shipping alone…5lb can be around $100, and some of these gives are heavier than that, running $200+ overseas, with high potential of getting stuck in customs and never actually arriving. If an international myconaut wins one of these, I’d be happy to send some prints or swabs your way…pretty much anything that can fit in a standard envelope and not have to pass through customs screening. If you order agar plates, quick changes in temps can sometimes cause condensation to form on the lids. Condensation is no problem, and will not affect the performance of the plate, but it’s still nice to have a clear view of what’s going on in there! I know for me, condensation is kind of annoying. If it’s still cold in your area, consider bringing your order into the garage or similar area to gradually warm up before entering your loving home to help reduce the drippity droplets!
