Quick little update on my bush! I harvested about half of the beauty berries off that thing this morning and am looking forward to making some jams! Damn seeds make it near impossible to do much else with them and they don’t taste super great on their own as-is, but if anyone has any other ideas or recipes besides jam that I can make with this Barney scat, let me know!

This week, I don’t have some dangerous emergency excuse to explain the short post like I did when the beetus attacked. I just had a friend stop by a little earlier and time got away from us! He’s part of the mycelial fam, and we had an amazing conversation, working through our woes in life, discussing different mushroom species we’re into, living, laughing, loving….all that good stuff. Love that dude. But my bad on the timing! I’ll sum up my thoughts as best I can with the minutes remaining…

Damn near every post, I hit on some tool or technique that works for me. Some get me out of a difficult head space, some get me balanced and centered, some just keep me from going insane. You know…normal people things. Allll these methods to pretty much practice being more present. Why is it so hard to just be in the moment sometimes? I’m not really sure. Also normal people things.

No matter who you are, on whatever path you are continuing up or down, with whatever tools and techniques and methods you use to get to wherever you’re trying to go….know this- there are people that you would consider more “advanced” on that particular path, and people who you might recognize as being more fresh on that path, or a similar one. But no matter where you are on that journey, no matter how hard you’re working and how diligent you are to work on yourself and not freak out on your kids and give your partner the attention they deserve and not get fired at work and blah blah blah all the other normal people stuff….you are 100% just as deserving of love as every other single person on this planet in whatever cycle they’re going through on whatever path they’re on.

Just to reiterate, YOU ARE DESERVING OF LOVE. Most of us need to hear that from ourselves more than anyone. Say it! “I deserve love” And believe it. If you don’t feel you deserve love, you can’t be completely open to receiving it. If you’re always judging yourself on why you aren’t “better” or further along on your path or upset with how you handled a situation, give yourself some grace. Counter that negative self talk with the mantra “I deserve love”. Open yourself up to be kind to yourself and start healing. We all have immensely complicated lives…some of us are thriving and other’s struggle to get by. In a year or a month or even tomorrow, those roles could easily flip. But no matter what happens or how you handle life being thrown at you, never ever forget to love yourself and KNOW that you are worthy. You are an absolute asset to the community that is the world we all live in, and you have the power to project that love far and wide. Don’t let anyone (especially yourself) ever shut that down. Be human….sit with it, work through it, cry about it, laugh about it….but never give up on love <3

We have a couple favorites back in the shop this week! Aside from Matapanas, this one has to be runner up on the list of varieties with Mexican origin and accidentally ran out of stock a few months ago….AZTEC GOD is back!! So fun to work with every step along the way from the slide to your microscope. Available in syringes and swab packs!

Also not super brand new, but one I had a very limited release on close to a year ago, BAPER is back! BAPER is Blue Albino Penis Envy Revert that had everybody’s panties up in a bunch because of how insanely beautiful and powerful they are. Philly Golden Teacher found one fruit of Blue APE that was kicking out spores, so he isolated it and blessed the community with it. Praise PGT! They look similar to Starry Night APE (SNAPE) and are just so so pretty. So pretty.

Patience my friends! Orders for supplies, like grains, substrate and agar, have been on the rise lately. That’s awesome and thank you!!! These are also the most time consuming processes. Supply orders typically ship out on Tuesdays and Fridays so you get the freshest batch possible, but if I end up with a short backlog of supply orders, I’ll email you to let you know when your order will ship. Unless things get really crazy, it should only be a 1 day delay, if any.
