Have you ANY info on this variety, please hit me up and share your wisdom. I have but only my own speculation on this one.

For years, I assumed this one was an isolate of an already established stable variety, given a funky name, after the totally cool planet Mars. That's a totally cool name. I get it. Years later, I heard this was named after the location where it was found (which I prefer when naming varieties). Obviously that would not be the planet Mars, but rather Mars, Pennsylvania. Less totally cool, but for that reason, more believable. But I could not even ballpark where I came across this info or the credibility of said source today. Since then, I've also learned that the Mars candy company is located in Pennsylvania, giving even more depth to this rabbit hole that will surely keep you up for nights on end. No matter what planet or chocolate factory this variety came from, I like studying these spores more than most, and would say that it is suitable for all experience levels.
