Modified lids are used for jars of liquid culture or grains you plan to inoculate. These make it super easy to inject and inoculate with a less than sterile environment.

Lids are equipped with a 0.22um filter for gas exchange and self healing injection port that can withstand many uses before needing replaced. Lids are totally reusable and can be sterilized in an autoclave or pressure cooker without degrading. Ports are sealed with high temp RTV silicone.
