Absolutely insane that we’re in the last month of the year already! This year feels like it’s gone by incredibly quick in some ways, and just creeping along in other ways. Very interesting! I hope everyone is staying warm out there. I had to bundle up for the first time this past week, and as I look ahead at the next few days, Austin is hitting low 70’s. Will it make up its mind? Probably not. Will my Wine Caps survive the fluctuations? Probably not. But we still try! Gah…one of these years.

‘Tis the freakin’ season my friends! Thanks to a wild group of extremely generous souls, we have a handful of giveaways, add-ins to random orders, suggestions being implemented and life events to celebrate! WOOT WOOT!! I’ll try to touch on ALLLL the good news here, but if I leave anyone out, please let me know and I’ll update the page!

First and foremost, I want to give a HUGE shout out and congratulations to our very own @UnderdogArtisan for welcoming little Monty Moon into the family! Montgomery Taylor Moon landed earthside on Tuesday to the most loving, inspiring and positive environment humanly possible and we are STOKED to cheer the little bean along on his journey through life! @UnderdogArtisan was kind enough to donate a $35 roll of ze die upon delivery yesterday (congratulations @LeviathansKeeper on snagging that win!), and I’m keeping that energy high with a $35 roll today and tomorrow as well! In the name of Monty Moon, WE ROLL!

Secondly, @chispa_atx (its me) and @UnderdogArtisan suggested having more gourmet options for the dice roll shenanigans, so I’ve reworked some of the regular tiers and added an optional “Gourmet Only” roll table for those interested! Please add a note at checkout if you want to roll the gourmet only table, otherwise we’ll roll ya on the regular active table. I took some time away from hitting gourmet stuffs to focus on the active genetics for a while, and am just starting to get back into beefing up the gourmets, so more will be added in the coming weeks. Most of the oyster varieties are resilient and unstoppable, and I’m always comfortable sending those out, but with some of the other varieties I added to the table (Reishi, Nameko, etc.), I have not fruited in a while. Until I know all the ins and outs of these specific cultures, I’m holding off adding them to the shop for now. Just a personal thing! I know @wanderluster (the Reishi Master if you will) had tremendous success with my Reishi culture, proving all is fine and well, I’d just rather be more hands on with the things sold in the shop. But in the meantime, they will be added to the new gourmet table, and if you have any issues whatsoever, I’d be happy to send a replacement of something I know like the back of my spores.

Another beautiful community contribution, the great @Psilly Bastard has donated some rather fine specimens of exotic varieties to share with the class as well! Thank you kind sir!! I’ll keep the specifics a secret for now, but these are to share with the community, so if you’re into exotics (non-cubensis actives), add a note at checkout and I’ll include something special while I have them. These will not be listed in the shop as regular items.

As usual, or at least for the past few months, on Wednesdays, we have the “Student Pack” giveaway from @BingoSmoke, including TWO 5lb All-In-One bags, along with Golden Teacher and B+ syringes! This pack is intended for new peoples getting into the hobby, so please only enter this giveaway if you have not won a giveaway in the past. We were able to visit together and chat for a while last week, and he was kind enough to bring some incredible mushie creations to share with the squad as well! I’ll be including a card with your order to let you know who the fun items are from so you can thank them if you end up receiving one! Thank you so so much good sir!!

Next on the docket…@LeviathansKeeper has been VERY excited to send some Black Boxes to the giveaway stash when they finally returned and…we’re here! The “Black Box” is back in full force! And this kind soul has donated a box to be given out each week this month! WOOHOO!!!! You rock, dude! This giveaway is intended for those who have not yet experienced that fresh joy and love that comes with opening the Black Box, so please only enter this giveaway if you have not received a “Black Box” in the past!

A note about the “Black Box“- In case you didn’t know…the Black Box is like a grab bag/mystery box stuffed full of useful goodies, amazing genetics, supplies and other mush themed goodies and trinkets. Each box is a flat $50, and I think most who have received one can attest to its value of over 50 bones. This is however, one of the most time consuming items currently offered in the shop. I give special attention to creating a box that is right for your own personal needs, and the more detail you add in the notes, the better I can customize the box for YOU. That being said, please allow some extra time for your order to ship if you are getting one of these bad boys. I typically have most of the items I want to include ready to go, but sometimes I’ll have something on my mind that takes some time to prep, which may take an extra couple days. If you’re on a time crunch, that’s fine too! Just let me know in the notes at checkout that you’d rather not wait, and I’ll be sure to have it on ze way with regular orders and it will still be full of goods to put a smile on your beautiful face! Alsooooo, if you have mega needs in the hobby, feel free to grab multiple boxes and I’ll have more freedom to include extra items and supplies to make it worth it!

Last but not least, @TheMycoVet is contributing his own box of goodies to a giveaway this evening! May I (he) present- Operation: White Saber! This is a bundle including a 5lb AIO bag, Jedi Mind Fuck syringe, and a pack of Phobos swabs! Phobos is an albino variant of Mars cubensis, named after one of Mars’ (the planet) moons and has been requested on the regular. UPDATES:

Shipping is going as well as it can at the moment with the typical USPS struggles, but we’re heading into the busiest shipping time of the year, so expect to see some delays! So far, packages have been scanning in when they hit the main hub here in Austin (despite being scanned at pickup), but the past few I checked on are showing a delivery date of 5-7 days out, up from the usual 3-5.

Patience my friends! Orders for supplies, like grains, substrate and agar, have been on the rise lately. That’s awesome and thank you!!! These are also the most time consuming processes. Supply orders typically ship out on Tuesdays and Fridays so you get the freshest batch possible, but if I end up with a short backlog of supply orders, I’ll email you to let you know when your order will ship. Unless things get really crazy, it should only be a 1 day delay, if any.
