I’ve had a handful of absolutely soul enriching conversations with friends lately about how everything is PERFECT. I’ve rambled about this before, but it’s one of my favorite topics and I feel like it’s near impossible to exhaust.

It’s easy to look around and see the injustice of the world. People treating others poorly, unfair this and that, poverty, disease, famine…a million things that make our reality seem imperfect. But in order to see the perfection, you have to transcend wanting the universe to be a certain way. Without our own judgements and perceptions of what’s happening, things just…are. Things happen due to the divine will of God/The Universe/fill in the blank with whatever higher power you believe in. It was all meant to be this way!

That’s not to say everything is as good and as perfect as it can be just the way it is from our physical perspective. Obviously we are not seeing murder thinking, “Ah, great!”. We understand HUMAN suffering, as a HUMAN, but at the deeper truth of why those particular souls are going through what they are going through at that moment, we just don’t know. As Ram Dass says, all we can do is listen. To hear. Letting go of the desire that it be different so you can hear how it is. Allow the quiet spaces usually set aside for your judging mind. The quieter you are, the less you are judging God.

I mean, that’s really how it is when you think about it! When you judge a situation and wish it were different, you’re saying “If I was the creator, I would have designed it differently”, which may be a true statement for you, but coming only from that HUMAN perspective. The quieter you are, the more deeply you can hear into the truth of things.

Laws apply to the physical world, to thought, personality, to every form. All form is lawful, and everything happening is just unfolding law. There is no error in it and there are no surprises. If you were apart from it, you would see it all as law. When you’re IN it, you feel like you have control and there’s all this drama and good and evil, but take a step back and you can see it’s all just unfolding law, exactly how it was intended.

One such conversation I had recently with @LeviathansKeeper, we were talking about our own personal practice and how we feel when we stray from it or have periods when we are ON POINT with it. I was spinning in circles, saying there is no such thing as “perfect”, in the sense that we will always be striving to be better individuals and I wouldn’t have it any other way. That no matter how “far” I progress, how much I fine tune my routine, I will never be at a point where I feel like things are actually complete, where I need no more practice. I kept circling back, saying “but then again, it is all perfect just the way things are!”, and he hit me with a borrowed line that’s stuck with me ever since. “Perfect, with room to improve”. I love that.

In a more recent conversation (mere hours ago), I was blessed with the company of the great @BingoSmoke for lunch today! What an incredible and wise human we share this experience with! He said we’re all carrying this backpack around and sometimes we make mistakes and are weighed down by a 5lb rock in the pack. And other times, God drops a 5lb rock in the pack. I’m sure I butchered it a bit, but you get the point. Either way, we’re just going with the flow, floating down the river. Some things happen to us that we don’t understand and our judging mind kicks in, but really it’s all just law unfolding. We may not understand why it is the way it is at this moment, in our human body, but we don’t have to. Just go with the flow <3

Shipping is going as well as it can at the moment with the typical USPS struggles, but we’re heading into the busiest shipping time of the year, so expect to see some delays! So far, packages have been scanning in when they hit the main hub here in Austin, but the past few I checked on are showing a delivery date of 5-7 days out, up from the usual 3-5.
