Description
Psilocybe Subcubensis was first described by Mexican mycologist Gaston Guzman as a pantropical and close relative to psilocybe cubensis. Both have active compounds psilocin and psilocybin, are found in both hemispheres and on every continent. The only main difference between cubensis and subcubensis are the size of the spores (subcubensis are smaller).
