Description
Psilocybe cyanescens, called Wavy Caps, was described in 1946 by Elsie Wakefield in the book Transactions of the British Mycological Society. The pileus is a carmel, chestnut-brown that is rarely replicated in mushroom species outside of Ps. cyanescens. Like other Psilocybe species, Wavy Caps prefer woody debris but can also thrive in leaf litter and can be found from late summer to mid winter. This species can be found in huge numbers every now and again. Once, on a single racetrack in England, more than 100,000 mushrooms were found! Spores are 9-12 x 5-8µm in size, smooth and elliptical in shape, and purplish-brown to purplish-grey in color. It can be confused in the wild with Galerina marginata and can have fatal consequences.

Great communication, I didn’t receive the tracking link initially but that was quickly remedied when I followed up on the subject. Put some under the scope, the only organism present was the spores I had purchased. Nice clean Spore Syringe!

Milly is awesome! I will order from him for all of my spores and will definitely be returning. The spores came quickly, with no contaminants. Communication was also great. He was quick to email back if I had any questions.
