PES stands for Pacifica Exotica Spora, a company that took spores from wild mushrooms and isolated/domesticated until we have the product we have today! PES Amazon, or PESA, was originally sold as an azurescens hybrid, which has since been proven false. This variety is one of the oldest varieties around, and for good reason!
